RISD staff shares lunch with Medal of Honor Recipient

Roosevelt ISD staff shared lunch with Woody Williams, the last surviving World War II Medal of Honor recipient.  Mr. Williams spoke to the staff about the importance of character development in future generations and praised teachers for their tenacity!  He is passionate about the Medal of Honor Character Development program, which Roosevelt ISD teaches each week.  It was an honor to meet a true American hero, Mr. Williams was presented with a Roosevelt Eagle Medal of Honor shirt--he'll be wearing it around his West Virginia home.
